Review on InSinkErator DWC 00 Dishwasher Connector Black by Christopher Cheek

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Dishwasher drain now tight - after use with new flexible rubber connection

Used in place of the old connection to drain the dishwasher into the incinerator. Of course the old drain died and the dishwasher drain line never matched the new drain (the rubber end hardened in the shape of the old drain) so there was a constant small leak. Being able to cut the rubber end of an old dishwasher's drain line and use this new soft rubber kit to reconnect the corrugated plastic drain and the new disposal has fixed that leak. The verbal instructions are for preparing the incinerator with very little description of how the fixture should work. A sharp box cutter or kitchen scissors can trim off the excess smaller diameter rubber hole. The constriction between different sized holes is a bit difficult to cut and remove. The plastic drain hose is inserted into the rubber connector and the spring clamp presses the rubber firmly against the drain hose. A hose clamp with a screwdriver then secures the whole thing to the plastic disposal inlet (don't forget to push the molded plastic tip out of this drain if it's a new disposal/connection).
