Review on Leather Journal Cover For Field Notes, Moleskine Cahier Notebook, Handmade Vintage 3.5" X 5.5" Leather Cover, Coffee by Kenny Davey

I have to admit the cover is well made and quite attractive but it's just too big. I am rarely found without my Field Notes pad combined with a Space Pen, both perfect for a quick note. Unfortunately after a few weeks in a sweaty pocket, the journal starts to get a bit rough looking. I was hoping this leather cover would give my journals a little more life, unfortunately I would have to change my entire wardrobe to cargo shorts to accommodate this cover. The cover could stand to lose a full inch on the width and it would be perfect. My cover has an inside loop to accommodate a pen, fine if I was carrying all in a purse but really bulges out the cover and makes it even more difficult to fit in a pocket.As mentioned, its well made and reasonably priced but the added size defeats the purpose of a pocket journal. I was disappointed to discover I'm back to carrying my Field Notes naked again.
