Benefits: Designed for storage of non-rack mounted equipment. Holds a decent amount of weight. The metal seems thick enough to entrust expensive equipment. Lots of air holes. Cons: Expensive, metal. Not exactly solid. Perhaps a cross brace below would make the shelf more rigid. Oh, and the pack of 3 cockroaches from Revain. I don't remember seeing any errors on my order page. At least they didn't charge me for it. Purpose: I am using this to support my Time Warner Cable and Google Fiber modems. I also stick to Velcro
