Review on Archer C20 Wireless Dual Band Router by TP-LINK - IEEE 802.11ac Ethernet with AC750 for Improved Internet Performance by DoYun Hwang ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Great device. At 2.4 GHz, it breaks through one and a half) walls (one reinforced concrete another is drywall) and catches on the street from the level of the second floor at a distance of about 25 meters with a signal level of 20-25%! When buying, you need to take into account that in the 5 GHz band, the penetration through walls is lower than 2.4 GHz.

Pros
  • Two ranges. Holds speed steadily. Easy to set up (instructions for dummies in the box, turn on your brains)!.
Cons
  • The size turned out to be too big) (see photo). The legs would be rubber, not plastic! It slides a lot.

Got pros: High speed WiFi 5GHz. Ease of setup. With its cons. Judging by the description of the model, there should be USB - but it is not. And I slowed down, and did not check. Alas. True, I bought the C20 (RU) version - maybe this is the case?

Returned back. I bought a small, nice router, more like a toy, there is no 5 GHz and only two antennas, but the signal is stronger than Archer's.

Pros: When I first bought the router, everything worked well. Different cons: After a while, it began to work very terribly, the signal deteriorated greatly, the speed dropped, etc.

A normal budget router for a small 1-2 room apartment.
