I ordered this for my 2.5 year old son after potty training. We travel a lot, and since he's still uncomfortable going to the regular toilet, I knew I needed something to make pottying less scary when we're not home. I haven't used it as an actual travel potty, but as a potty seat on a regular toilet. That works great! My only complaint is that there isn't a great "guard" for little boys so you have to force yourself or your son to watch and aim down. In addition, it is an ideal solution for public toilets. It's small, but after a few days of use on different toilet styles, it really works. When you unfold it and put it on the toilet, push it against the back of the seat (or as far back as possible) and just keep your hand on the baby - don't worry! My son is also quite tall (33 lbs) and fits in perfectly. When folded, it is very compact and easily fits in a large handbag or children's backpack. I didn't like the included plastic carry bag so you might want to check out the wet cloth diaper bag. I carry a pack of sanitizing wipes for the trip, give them a quick wipe when he's done, and put them back in my bag. Great product - highly recommend!
