I liked the photo and the quantity of spikes, so I ordered and bought some, but when they arrived, they weren't quite as numerous and were instead more widely dispersed. I took them for a spin, and as I had anticipated, they were surprisingly quiet on asphalt thanks to the location of the spikes. The winter season arrived, bringing with it snow and ice—ideal conditions for testing. After confirming that the anti-lock brakes were functioning properly, the driver turned the vehicle and observed how well it handled the icy road. Nexen Winguard WinSpike WH62 is, in the end, just good for a silent drive.
