Says LED, but looks more like a dim flourescent

I was very pleased with the style and how it looked in the bathroom, until I turned it on. The light it gives off is very dim and reminiscent of a small flourescent tube. Our bathroom walls are light blue, and combination is kind of creepy.

We bought 2 of these for over our vanity sinks. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality and look.
