I chose this because the backlit letters seem to be among the brightest, seem better lit than front lit and the block itself is filled with hard resin. The battery reached a full charge in a couple of hours, even with minimal ambient light I had the backlit display up until 8am the next morning when I switched it off as a test before final installation - probably half a day or more would have passed. .On the other hand, hanging by the (4) included #4 panhead screws in the 2 keyhole slots is silly. Anyone can just take it and join in if they want. I installed the jacks see picture so no one can lift them freely - a nuisance that needs to be addressed. Wanted to see a #6 or #8 screw hole for direct mounting. It comes with two ¼" x 7" steel rods for floor mounting 2" or 3" from the floor after sliding in. But ¼ inch rods don't make sense - they need to be at least ½ inch long if you intend to mount to the floor. The letters are 2½ inches high, which I think should be the minimum of 4 inches. But what is is. Better looking, better ABS or PVC so I went for this one / backlit and durable. PS Installed now, super bright, battery seems to last about 12 hours.
