Large enough date/day squares to actually write something.

Fit what we needed - a calendar that was fairly large, readable, and had room to write on for each date/day.The pages are not made from the heaviest card stock in the world; but it's perfect for desk work. And, of course, it can still be hung on the wall. Perfect for our use!
