VIHIMAI Tesla Model 3 Air Intake Filters: $16.99 at the time of reviewI’ve had my Model 3 since the summer of 2018. At first, I didn’t have a real issue with smells in the interior cabin. The cabin air filters appeared to be doing their job. Sadly, a couple of years later some road debris hit my car and I needed some body work. After that there was a weird smell (maybe from glue) in my car when it got hot outside. So I ordered this filter, hoping it would help.*What I liked*:At about $17 bucks, it really is an inexpensive price considering this is a filter for a Tesla.Super easy to install. Just pop the air intake cover off under your hood and slip the filter in over the intake vent.Honest to goodness I really have noticed a reduction in the chemical smell inside my car after installing this filter. I suspect there is a strong glue they used outside the car during the repair process. This filter does seem to help.*What I didn't like*:The shape doesn’t seem to adhere perfectly to the vent without kind of bending/deforming the filter down around the curves of the vent opening. There is a foam lining around the edge of the filter so you can make it work, I’d have liked something that fit a little better without fidgeting with it.*The Bottom Line:*For the price, I’m very happy with this filter. It’s working well for me, and I imagine it helps prolong the life of the cabin air filters (which are a fair bit of a pain to install themselves). Five stars out of five. I will definitely order another one of these when my current filter has run its course.
