This magnet holder is very strong. It does hold my net securely. It has 1 magnet on each end, so that makes it a very strong hold when they are together. I also have one for my keys, a little too strong as a keychain, but i don't mind. I use both of them, one for mybkeys and one for my net.

- Holds my work wrench very well, stretches to a great arm length and the magnet is super strong.
Cons
- The clip may not fit all types of rods
