What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

I needed a new sound card to replace the one that came with my new motherboard, so I purchased this one. Even though I'm not a particularly experienced or knowledgeable connoisseur, I found the sound on the built-in card to be highly irritating to my hearing. As a result, I made the decision to purchase something that was inexpensive but had a sound that was at least passable. This was the option that presented itself to me, and while there were certain aspects of it that didn't quite work for me, overall it was an excellent fit. The card picks up pickups from the video card; they aren't particularly powerful but they are evident. High-frequency noise appears in the 3d editor whenever the viewport or geometry is rotated. This noise can be ignored, but I was unable to do so. Connecting headphones to the front panel of the system unit provides a solution that addresses a portion of this issue. I'm not sure why, but the noise was noticeably muffled after making this connection (it did not go away entirely). Connecting the sound system to the riser (PCI-E 1x to 1x usb), which was purchased from Ali for 300 dollars, was the key to successfully resolving the issue once and for all.

Pros
  • superior sound quality to that of the built-in speakers. Affordable cost
Cons
  • Interference from the video card is picked up.
