The barrel is very small. They are perfect for my almost 4 year old. Best suited for tall, slim children.
Pants are ok, look well cut and cute. They are finely woven cotton that will not yield or stretch. My main concern is that I bought a size 5 with the intention of my son wearing them summer and fall, but for now they fit perfectly and I don't see them lasting more than a few months. My son is tall, average build, he is almost 4 years old for reference.
