Review on 16 Count EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries 2800MAh Ready2Charge Quality by Eric Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Power and Capacity!

As a sports photographer I’ve used many AA batteries over the last 20 years, and these 2800 EBL’s are great! After 3 weeks of being charged and not being used, I charged them again and they did not need any more charging than my Duracell's that were charged and recharged at the same time. They all took about 48 minutes to fully recharge back to full. After that, I used some in a Nikon SB 800 flash, without my battery pack, and after 650 flash shots with instant recycling at -1/3rd setting, the batteries needed only 30 minutes longer to charge back up, then the batteries that were not used for anything. Plenty of capacity left for more use. Other brands of batteries would have needed to be replaced with freshly charged ones to continue using, because of being so drained of their charge.I charged them all on a new EBL battery charger that I bought at the same time. The batteries were only warm and not hot at all after charging. The space for batteries in the flash is very tight, and the EBLs went in and out, as easy as Duracell's, or Energizers. They fit in everything I have that take AA's, but I will only be using them in my flash.I will not hesitate to buy more of these when needed. Will they last for 3 to 5 years of use? I hope so.If things start to go bad with these batteries I will update my review, as I really need to be able to depend on these for power and capacity, when flash is needed.

Pros
  • Supercell lattice - EBL batteries made in supercell lattice technology, make it more inner space to contain such high volume power juice, provide constant voltage and best performance in heavy load discharge.
Cons
  • May be prone to corrosion over time
