Review on Bridgestone Turanza T005 245/40 R19 98Y summer by Dagmara Zuba ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

I chose summer tires for a long time, at first I leaned towards the Hankook S1 evo3. But there are not many reviews about this rubber yet, and those that were rather negative. I also thought about Kumho ecsta hs51, but I was confused by the tread pattern (strange and very deep grooves in the middle) and wrote somewhere that they didn’t keep the track well. China is not yet considered for myself, Michelin and Cotni are much more expensive. As a result, I chose the Bridge because. The tread pattern is Michelin-like (should be quiet) and there's an extended warranty. Size 245/45 R19 front and 275/40 R19 rear. The rubber is not Runflat, not noisy, it goes through bumps very nicely and elastically, according to the first sensations, the car steers well on it, the rut is almost not felt (Only a very deep rut is felt, otherwise it’s normal). The tires are definitely quieter and nicer than my old Pirelli PZero, which was also non-runflat. So far not disappointed, but only drove 200 kilometers, I will ate the review in the middle of summer.

Pros
  • - not noisy - Almost does not feel the rut - Holds the road well
Cons
  • - There is no side protecting the disk. - Outwardly and to the touch, the rubber is soft, let's see how long it lasts.
