It works! Electronics

Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a product that actually works as advertised. Windows 10 got corrupted after a critical update from Dell. Knowing that a clean install would erase my personal data, I wanted to back up my files and folders that I had left on my Windows desktop - silly mistake since I have partitions on my hard drive! First, I called several data mining companies and they quoted me prices equivalent to a second mortgage payment. After some research I came across the ZEXMTE M.2 NVME USB 3.1 M-Key M.2 NGFF NVME Adapter. After I removed the hard drive from the laptop and plugged it into Zexmte, I plugged it into the USB port of another computer and got all my data, because now the hard drive was recognized as an external hard drive on another computer. A couple of nuances: 1. There were no instructions in the kit - but it's okay - I couldn't understand what the rubber strip was for. 2. Strongly heated - do not touch during operation. I ended up including a fan to keep the temperature down. I thought he was going to burn himself. 3. The biggest problem for me was deciding which device to buy. There seem to be three different interface and slot configurations in laptop SSD drives. I suggest you look at your hard drive first to determine the hardware interface AND slot configuration - it will save you a lot of trouble. Pay attention to the description of this product, it is the M-key M.2 NGFF NVME adapter, in addition to the MVME agreement, there are also B-key and interfaces.
