Great pizza stone in great packaging

I had an ancient pizza stone that was broken a few years ago and haven't replaced it until now with this. First, I didn't have a CLUE how to care for a pizza stone, I washed it and sometimes even put it in the dishwasher! Can I just say how happy I am that this came with a booklet of how to actually care for a pizza stone? And boy I feel like a dummy, I never knew at all how to care for one. But let me back up for a second. This comes with the stone, an excellently written instruction booklet, a small brush and. a bench scraper that doubles as a knife! I used to work as a pastry chef (I never did bread if I could help it) and have lots of bench scrapers, but none of them were sharp like this one is. Super handy for pizza cutting.I used it for my 1st pizza - granted it was a frozen pizza but don't judge me - and it came out the cripiest I have ever made a frozen pizza. I preheated my oven with the stone in the oven and when it was hot I put my frozen pizza on it and had great success.Next, I also used it to keep food warm in the oven. I had the stone in my oven set for 180 degrees and once at temperature I turned off the oven. The stone radiates heat and helps keep food warm.So far so good! The stone does what its supposed to do (and now that I know how to care for it, I hope it outlasts the old stone I used to have!).
