Review on 52-Week Magnetic Meal Planner Notepad With Grocery List - 7" X 9", Tear Off Shopping List, Refrigerator Door Hanging Food Organizer by Gavin Dunne

Durable and useful. Who could ask for more?

My 2022 New Year’s resolution was to meal plan (and in doing so, save money and reduce food waste). I bought this tablet as part of that goal.As you can see, I’m on the last sheet (it’s Jan. 8th today), and buying a replacement today for the new year. So obviously I’m a fan! There is enough room to right your meal and sides. I also note what meat is needed to be pulled to thaw. I use the tear away to jot down any missing ingredients for these meals. The paper is plenty thick, and doesn’t curl up. The magnet is strong enough to stay on the fridge, even when the pad is new. Pages tear away cleanly. One thing note for anyone new to meal planning. This pad does have days of the week on it, but don’t feel obligated to make the noted meal on that day. Some meals take longer and you may just not have that much time that day. If you’re a meat eater, have meatless options a couple of times a week for when you forget to thaw or just don’t have it in you to do the extra work that meat takes.Using this in conjunction with ordering my groceries and picking them up (reducing impulse shopping) has cut my food costs IN HALF. Buy it. Use it. Stick with it.

Pros
  • Helps you to stay on track even with a busy schedule
Cons
  • The planner does not include a section for slow-cooker meals
