Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 SUV 255/50 R20 109 year old by Wiktor Niekrasz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

Auto - Mercedes GL500. Size 275/50 R20. Cold pressure 2.3. Last season I skated Hakku Black 2, so the comparison will be with her. Being a longtime fan of Nokian products, he decided to try another brand again. According to the main characteristics of the tires are similar. Excellent handling and brakes on any surface. There is also a similarity in a slight sensitivity to the track. But there are also differences. Mishka's main plus is the super comfortable passage of all road bumps. Hakka jumps much harder in the pits. But perhaps this is where the Michelin pluses end. Then comes the harsh reality. Price! The Mishka set cost more by 28 There are fewer additional promotions when buying Michelin tires. I just got a free tire fitting. Extended warranty for 1 year and fuel card up to 4 applies only to individuals. To Hakka they give tire fitting, seasonal storage and an unlimited guarantee (a card with denyushka is also only for individuals (up to 4t. R). That is, Hakka was already from the very beginning better buy. Although this is not particularly important to me, since the car is official and the company pays, but still . The tread depth of the new tires is only 6.5 mm (4.9 to the limiters). For two weeks and 2.5 thousand kilometers, the rear tires wore out by 0.7 mm, the front tires by 0.5 mm. ) I hope there will be enough tires at least for the season (I drive about 30t. Km during the summer) The rubber is very soft, which is a plus when driving through pits, but also a minus, since it wears out quickly and very actively absorbs small stones, glass, nails . Especially wide central track. But unlike Nokian, there are no cracks in the tread and tearing out of shreds of rubber. So far, my impressions are mixed. If the tread lasts the mentioned 30t. Km, then most likely I will be satisfied with the purchase, but if not, then this purchase will be extremely unprofitable. In general, at the end of the season or earlier, if the tires wear out faster, I will supplement the review with the final verdict.

Pros
  • Very soft and comfortable. It copes well with all the bumps and pits on the roads (even large ones) Excellent grip / braking properties on dry / wet pavement. Bibendum on the sidewall looks beautiful :)))
Cons
  • PRICE! Slight sensitivity to rutting. They make a little noise. Soft rubber wears out pretty quickly and absorbs all the debris from the roads. The tread depth is only 4.9mm to the limiters (total depth 6.5mm) Few promotions when buying Michelin tires. Extended warranty for individuals only. persons. There is a real lack of a digital tire wear indicator like Hakki’s (I had to put a barbell in the car. I don’t trust Chinese trinkets-indicators)

Got pros: Handling, noise, resistance to aquaplaning all on top! Has some cons: The price bites, but it was worth it!
