Update: After 4 Months, Still never heard back from the manufacture after multiple e-mails. Literally there is no support for this device. Original Post: 1st unit I ordered was a 24 volt, Lasted about 2 months and then smoked and started sounding low battery alarm. Returned for a 48 Volt unit, this unit was in service less then a week ( I left it in the box for over a month before putting into service ) and caught fire. This unit never saw more then 10% load and was under less than 1% load when fire started, No one was around, the unit eventually died, The fire did not escape the metal housing this unit is made of. I have attached photos of the interior PCB boards that burnt themselves up. I attempted to e-mail the manufacture from their website and after 72 hours never heard a word back from them. Their telephone number is a international number so it cannot be called without being charged. Additionally I cannot find replacement parts for this unit anywhere. There was no lightning in the area when this occurred. Overall, Poor Quality and No Support What So Ever, the only help you can get ( In The USA ) is from Revain and hopefully they can help you otherwise you will have a $1000 pile of junk since you cannot replace the PCB boards.
