Review on TV Tuner LUMAX DV-2120HD by Stanislaw Kosciukiew ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Despite the shortcomings described, for a thousand, I consider it a good purchase for the top five . For a thousand I got a normal TV set, connected a monitor, speakers, a couple of adapters to the set-top box, HDMI-VGA, Jack 3.5-RCA were required. TV sets are now some kind of broken ones! I have covered myself, a few from relatives, even from acquaintances, they only have time to buy new ones. Whether it's a good old monitor, in which I'm sure for many more years, will plow and plow. In addition, I have another similar one (it will go to the dacha via DVB-T, T2). But the prefix issues by default. immediately 1080p, the old monitor will not show anything, so in order to switch to 720p or lower in the settings, you need to connect some kind of ancient TV set with an RCA input.

Pros
  • I took it to use an old VGA monitor as a TV, from an apartment TV cable via DVB-C. Everything works, everything catches, it goes to the Internet, it reads a flash drive. The price is not expensive, prefix och. small, not heated (slightly warm). The menu seems to be convenient, the remote control is also not bad. When you connect the set-top box to the Internet, it itself offers a software ate (and it can be very useful), read the shortcomings. After pressing "OK" a list of channels appears, it is convenient to switch between them using this menu. Shows what kind of transfer and what will be after it and what time. I connected it with an Internet using an old smartphone (as a usb modem), it is also from usb and is recharged at the same time.
Cons
  • About 5 channels hung on dvb-c on cable TV, of which IZ. RU, TLC, Spas, etc. I don’t remember. It hung tightly, only turning it off from the outlet helped. After ating the software through a connection to the Internet of the set-top box, the problem was eliminated, there are no more questions, so the drawback essentially disappears. Before the ate, I caught 42 channels, 4 of which were with big noise (squares, pixels), after the ate I caught 38 channels with a good signal, although in theory there should be 50 channels on the TV cable, but it’s possible that on paper it’s always smooth, in fact the antenna may be smaller, not in the know, there is nothing to compare with. Channel switching is slow though, but almost all set-top boxes do this, as far as I know. It does not turn on quickly, maybe 30-40 seconds. I have 2 old WiFi adapters, he simply does not see them, the instructions contain models that are caught.
