Review on Organize With Ease: 30 Assorted Colored EOOUT File Folders With Tabs - Perfect For Office, School And Home Use! by John Salleh

Handy for projects, good heavy card stock, coated

As an author, publisher, advocate, and sometimes activist, these are handy for keeping track of the tasks and status - at a glance - associated with a book or project. They're made of good, heavy paper stock that is coated, which should help protect them from spilled coffee or greasy donut crumbs. Some reviewers have noted that the coating necessitates using specific types of pens, such as Expo Vis-a-Vis and not gel pens. One of the questions asks about "Project Goal" being printed across the entire project goal space; a customer response is that the printing is light enough to write over, or a stick-on label can be used there. So, that's a possible down-side. The upside is that these are good quality file folders in bright, happy, uplifting colors, and the coating may help their durability and ability to remain stain-free if you snack while working. If the "Project Goal" printing or the pen issue is a non-starter for you, I've also purchased and reviewed a similar product that's made of good heavy card stock but is uncoated; and its Project Goal space has only a small "Project Goal" label in the upper-left corner, leaving ample, clear, unobstructed space to write your project goal. A couple of the colors in that set are muted and (to my way of thinking a bit dreary), but the others - which is most of them - are quite pleasant.I still like this set because the colors, coating, and format makes them seem happy and cheerful. If someone is likely to tell a really funny joke that makes you laugh till your sip of coffee comes out your nose while you're writing on your folders, this may be the set to have. ;)

Pros
  • LOVED THIS FOLDERS -
Cons
  • The tabs may be flimsy and prone to tearing off
