I like the finished product. The brackets are made from thick, powder-coated steel and seem strong enough to last. The installation instructions could have been a bit clearer regarding the hood mounted brackets. It depends on the side, but the instructions don't specify which side is which. There are no marks on the mounts themselves, so you'll have to install them and figure out what works. It only took 5-10 minutes but you should be aware of that. The instruction images are in color but too small to show the sides of the cowl brackets. The side panel brackets aren't marked either, but they make it easier to see which side is which before installation. All in all this is a good product for those who want to keep the hood open without the stock handlebar mount.
