I have Roku Premiere and Roku Premiere Plus. They're both good, but there are some differences. Both could improve the ability to customize remote buttons, backlit remote etc. Good. Here are the big differences. Premiere Plus has an Ethernet port and a micro SD card slot. Premiere Plus also supports HDR (high dynamic range) for television. Premiere does not have any of the features listed above. Both are 4K ready. The Premiere Plus remote is thicker, more comfortable (in my opinion) and takes 2 AA batteries. This remote appears to be radio frequency (RF). for private listening. The Premiere remote control is thinner and uses 2 AAA batteries. This remote control is of the infrared (IR) type. There is no headphone jack. wired Ethernet port. I personally prefer Premiere Plus because of the above differences.
