Fantastic Air Mattress

I absolutely adore this air mattress! It's exactly as shown in the listing, and so incredibly comfortable. It was also so easy to inflate I couldn't believe it, such a far cry from the last air mattresses I have owned in the distant past. Plug it in, turn a knob, and a few minutes later, it's full. It's loud as heck, so you will likely disturb your neighbors if you pull into a campground and set up camp in a tent late at night, but at least it will only last a few minutes. If you don't have access to electricity, there is a typical old-fashioned manual outlet you can use a pump on or try to blow it up yourself, although I can't imagine actually trying that for a mattress of this size. The inflation knob is a little counterintuitive, in that you turn it to the left to inflate and to the right to deflate, and that's not marked anywhere that I could find. It was a little frustrating until I figured that out.The electric cord is stored in its own compartment within the head of the mattress, which is well-designed with a cutout for the cord when the compartment is closed. It's well made, with even edges, and closes firmly. It does deflate a little over time, as the material stretches, but that is warned about in the truly excellent directions. All you have to do is turn the knob again for a couple of moments and it refills instantly. I've now been sleeping on it for various reasons for several weeks, and I've only had to reinflate a couple of times. It also comes with a few patches in case it ever springs a leak, which of course is always a risk with air mattresses. The only semi-issue is that the sleeping surface really isn't a full queen. The overall measurements are, but several inches on each side are lost to the puffed out, rounded sides. It would definitely benefit from a more squared off profile. I would have preferred that more squared design, but this is what was available to me for free, so I grabbed it. The profile isn't an issue for me, as I live and travel alone, but it may be for couples. There's still easily room for two people, but just don't expect quite as much space as your queen bed at home.I also don't like seeing the massive brand name on the sides, but if you put a mattress cover on it, you won't see it. I would absolutely recommend that even if you are using a sleeping bag because the flocked surface collects dust like mad.It comes in a handy storage bag, but fits so snugly that I doubt it will ever be possible to get it back in again after having used it. It will likely still be handy to carry it in.Worth every penny and highly recommended.

Pros
  • Its size and versatility make it perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient sleeping solution
Cons
  • The mattress may not be suitable for individuals with allergies or asthma
