Review on Purely Natural All-Season Quilt Batting: PLANTIONAL Cotton Batting For Quilts, Crafts, And Wearable Arts - 47" X 59" Light Weight by Vincent Lott

Falls apart and gets fuzz everywhere

This was lightweight soft batting. But with the softness came lack of stability. This batting shredded and stuck to the cotton fabric I used to make the quilt, and bits of the batting scattered all over the place. With the amount of time required to sew and quilt the 3 layers together it is an awful thought that this batting will not stay in a layer but make lumps after the quilt is washed. I should have waited until I could get to a fabric store. One clue that the company knows that this is a bad product is that they enclose a cute little note asking you to essentially not give a negative review in exchange for them "making it right”. Well, that’s impossible once you have quilted with this inferior product.

Pros
  • As a quilter, I prefer wool for it's loft and drape. This cotton does it. Great drape and very warm.
Cons
  • Already added, get off
