Review on πŸ”Ž Lenovo ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II - Bluetooth & Wireless - US English - 4Y40X49493 - Review & Features by Jim Ledbetter

Great sequel to previous trackpoint bluetooth keyboard

Replaced a commonly used previous model that was bluetooth only. I've been using Thinkpads for decades and have been very dependent on the trackpoint on the keyboard. Used via Bluetooth with a Surface Studio 2 desktop and occasionally a Surface Pro 6. Also tried it briefly on an iPad. Not as good as the X1 Carbon keyboard, but close. Can't comment on the durability of the legs as I don't use them and prefer them as flat as possible. Very happy they switched from Micro USB to USB C for charging and also added a dongle for non-bluetooth desktops (plus there is a good place to keep the dongle when not in use). Or I would optionally change it to be a wired USB-C keyboard/mouse and use better plastic for the keycaps as the spacebar gets a little shiny spot after just 3 weeks of use. continuous use. I really wish someone would make a keyboard frame that I could fit a genuine Thinkpad replacement keyboard into for use with non-Thinkpad computers. It's also quiet enough that I can work on boring conference calls without anyone overhearing, unlike the Keychron mechanical keyboard I've tried before.
