The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

Do not anticipate much from the budget model. I was aware of this and mentally prepared before making the purchase that I didn't need all the bells and whistles, such as WebDAV, ownCloud, or zCloud; I simply needed RAID1 and access to data over the local network so that it would be quiet and take up little space. However, work might be done on the primary functionality. The default file manager is an awful place. Students would smoke cigarettes in jealousy as they sawed through government services. How can I choose every file in a directory? CTRL-A? Contains the interface any pimpochka? No, dear friends; that would be too challenging. No way, they just did it. Is it truly difficult to draw a % anywhere when I'm copying a lot of data? How can I determine the copying status? If I change my mind, how can I stop copying? Now that I'm transferring 500 gigabytes of data, I realize that it's not actually going there. The procedure needs to be stopped. How? The response is always "no way." Using the mouse wheel to go through a folder's contents? For the Zuhel firm, which prefers paging with buttons on the side, this is rocket science. 21st century, Carl, paging! After going on this raw food diet, I'm seriously worried about the security of my data. Regarding external vulnerabilities, the firmware changelog has so many CVE vulnerabilities that I just decided not to connect the NAS to the Internet. In terms of a RAID1 drive failing, this is the case. I have no idea how this NAS will act. PS: It also appears out of nowhere. That example, a NAS that doesn't access the Internet and only supports Samba, the web interface, and Twonky. There is almost no traffic on the NAS, but all of a sudden, it begins to work intensely with screws, and the web interface becomes unresponsive. PPS: At first, there were three stars; the core functionality operates as intended. Due to the fact that hanging without a load is typically beyond good and wicked, I have now changed it to two stars.

Pros
  • Price.
Cons
  • unfinished software.
