Mobile rooms retailer order placed. They thought it might be repaired and unlocked following the installation of new components, but when they arrived, they found that it was locked tight as ever. The camera shutter sound doesn't silence in the Asian version, which is why I'd like not have one. I'm happy to say that my Irish luck has finally paid off. They did not include a present with their shipment, but they did send a courier to have it there in half a day and they did provide a heads up. Having a warranty in place is a good bonus.
