Review on WaterPik WP-660 Aquarius Professional, white by Anson Keith ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are a few bugs, basically the norm.

This is already the second WaterPik irrigator, and the first one is still working, only it has lost a lot in appearance. Model WP-660 is very unfortunate. There are many reviews that either after 2 months, or after 2 years, 2 months stops working, and everyone has one malfunction: it stops turning on when you press the button. My copy was no exception, it broke down after 2 years (((I also stopped responding to being turned on. I disassembled it, checked it, the power supply failed. Some write that the PSU burns out due to leakage, but this is not so. The transformer is filled with epoxy and is very hermetic. Apparently, the quality of the components leaves much to be desired. My transformer burned out the primary winding. According to the scheme, the transformer is constantly energized. The button on the irrigator starts a low-current circuit. I ordered a new transformer on Ali. I will install a switch from the lamp on the cord, I will de-energize in hours of downtime, turn it on before use. I'll see how long this option lasts. I bought mine for 8 2 years ago. It seemed to be very expensive. Today 25 asking for it. It doesn't even cost that much money, especially with such mediocre reliability.

Pros
  • Very good irrigator.
Cons
  • Unreliable. Today the price is not right.
