Stop Pets from Scratching Furniture Couch

After giving up our old sofa and getting a new sofa, it was almost destroyed by our two cats. They had a good time, but now is the time to move on.When you move a new sofa, you can feel their eyes watching our every move. waiting. Destruction is imminent. My first line of defense: nail trimmer. This is not an easy task, but it seems to be able to at least subdue weapons once a week.Second: A cat is itching next to the sofa. They have other positions, but scratching is a social and territorial activity. I don't allow them to do that kind of activity on the couch, but I'm giving them a place next to them to take care of these needs.Final defense: these plastic obstacles. I don't have high hopes for these, but the thought process is to prevent their efforts and point them in the right direction - hopefully the end result is to be able to eliminate these obstacles, once the interest in completely destroying the sofa is frustrated. They are easy to stick to, not a huge eye, although I am looking forward to deleting them. But their function is very good. Cats are completely uninterested in the claws of this material. I tried to give up one or two times - we also quickly redirected them to scratching positions and treated them and feelings when they used it.I like my cat, but men, I am very happy to see that their claws use this plastic uselessly. See disappointment and confusion. " Anyway? Anyway?!" My sofa will continue to exist.I still can't update this training camp (short-term plastic, redirect to scratch, high praise) is valid, and whether I can remove this product after a while. But this will come at the right time!Another benefit of this product is that our cats like to lie on their backs and pull themselves under the furniture, irreversibly destroying the underside of the sofa/bed/chair during this process. It's below, so sometimes I just give up, but this product does help in our bed, I use plastic to lining the edges - the cat can still scratch under the sofa, but usually they start scratching and pulling the edges. By doing so, they feel the edge and become selfless, and then they leave the area (hopefully going from one foot away to scratching the post). If you have a serious situation, you can theoretically use the entire bed on the bed to go offline.I wish you all the best.

Pros
  • Wall Corner Scratcher is great for satisfying your cat's natural instincts
Cons
  • May not be effective for all types of fur
