They appear to be spherical (as depicted in the photo), but it's likely that wear and tear will eventually cause holes to appear. - I wish I could hunch my back even further forward. There is some support for the lower back (the loin), but the upper back will need to be held by the individual. - My lumbar support has turned a full 180 degrees and I'd like it to be higher. - I was anticipating a cushier seat. For me, that's just too severe. - The chair's seat is slick. If I lean against the lumbar support, I end up in an unnatural, outward posture for my back. - If you lie on your back, the headrest will provide some relief.
