Purchased a while back after my first oil change. Today I changed the oil, dropped the filter and installed the "plug" securely. Pulled out the filter and the "plug" stopped about 1/2 the oil from spilling. HALF, that is. The plug was tight, maybe it''s sealing surface is warped. Try another brand.....
