Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 5 825GB SSD RU, white by Anson Keith ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is working, I will not repeat it for sure.

Bought a console to replace PS4. That one was no longer enough for modern projects and I wanted to replace it with something more productive. I haven't even really played PS5 games yet, but only some "upgrades" for it, like Death stranding director's cut or DMC5 with Metro. With this case, she copes with a bang. But the gamepad upset everyone. As on the previous console, the speaker is immediately and forever cut down on it, because the developers do not know how to use it. The gamepad itself keeps the battery much worse than the previous generation, despite Sony's statements, and most importantly, the drift of the sticks in less than 3 months of use. Yes, the gamepad was replaced under warranty. But since services in Hong Kong, it took about two weeks. Until the courier took it, until it reached the service, until they confirmed the problem, until they sent it back. At this time, I had to connect the gamepad from the box through the computer using remote Play and third-party crutches. So-so pleasure.

Pros
  • 1. Gamepad. Finally, Sony came up with a normal gamepad design, but, unfortunately, left other controller sores. 2. Games from Sony itself. In principle, this is the only major AAA publisher that makes large-scale finished projects without microtransactions. I used to take PS4 just because of them, but now I fully use PS5 for multiplatform. It's more expensive to ate a computer these days. 3. Convenient sharing of the game library, which allows you to safely play the same game simultaneously on two consoles. It was the same on PS4, but here it began to work more intuitively.
Cons
  • 1. The gamepad is a whole bunch of contradictions. On the one hand, cool triggers, on the other - a useless touchpad, speaker and gyroscope. The DS4 also had a useless flashlight, but at least we got rid of it, thanks. All these bells and whistles sometimes only annoy, and do not give any gaming experience, and most importantly, they drain the battery. According to Sony, the battery in dualsense holds longer than in controller for one and a half to two hours, but in fact the situation is diametrically opposite. The usual place of the gamepad is on the charger. And this is especially funny against the background of my gamepads from Microsoft from previous generations, where they are either battery-powered or battery-powered for a week or more. 2. Regional prices. Unfortunately, this problem is slowly beginning to be solved in the most unpleasant way - on the PC, large projects at prices are getting closer and closer to the international price tag. 3. Cooler noise from the case. Before that, I had a PS4 Slim, and in comparison with it, the PS5 is noisier. Although, if you switch from fatki or firmware, the noise will not be noticeable at all. 4. drive noise - also noisier than the slim version of ps4, but I don't use disks. If there was an opportunity to buy DE for the recommended price, I would buy it. And so I could only grab the full version for the recommended one. 5. Sony PlayStation service centers (not to be confused with regular Sony services) - only in Hong Kong. 6. Design is very amateur
