Review on KAMANINA 1 Inch Curtain Rod Telescoping Single Drapery Rod 72 To 144 Inches (6-12 Feet), Crystal Netted Texture Finials, Antique Bronze by John Huskisson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Couple issues but looks pretty

This curtain rod came with 2 sets of instructions. One for an outdoor couch and one for the actual rod. The instructions for the assembly of the rods were rather obscure. One of the rod supports was missing the screw to secure the bar in place. Another one of the supports had the threading of a screw completely stripped so that it could not be tightened into place at all. It seems like there is a bit of a quality control issue here. The joining of the 3 rods to make a longer one is rather fragile. As far as I could tell from close inspection, there was no way to secure the rods that had been connected. If you tug them a little too far trying to cover the span of your window then they will come apart easily. I ended up using 3 supports for some small sheer curtains since I was concerned about the bending of the bar inbetween my 2 windows. The knobs at the end of the curtain look pretty and was the whole reason I got this rod. I don't plan on using any heavy curtains or even closing my curtains. This was pure aesthetics for me. That being said, it is serving it's purpose of looking nice.
