One Woman's Disappointing Online Shopping Experience at Gardenwed (and Some Negative Storytelling)

Just lately, I discovered Gardenwed, a web-based boutique catering to female consumers in need of apparel, footwear, and accessories. I eagerly perused their website, anxious to learn more about their offerings. Unfortunately, I had a less-than-pleasant time shopping. The website, to begin with, was unappealing and frustrating to use. The filters and categories were disorganized, making it difficult to locate what I needed. Moreover, it was difficult to get a decent feel for what I was buying because the images of their products were grainy and under-lit. When I discovered one I liked, I had it made to my measurements. Unfortunately, the size and quality were both severely lacking upon arrival. Poor quality fabric and sloppy construction. It took days for them to reply to my customer service request for a return and refund. When they did, they were rude and indifferent, making the process of returning the item difficult. The fact that the shoes I purchased were also of low quality and a poor fit only added insult to injury. The jewelry was just as bad, with cheap, tacky items that had nothing in common with the photos on the website. In general, I was very disappointed with Gardenwed. In my opinion, this is not the best place to buy women's apparel, shoes, or accessories online. Website usability is low, goods are subpar, and support is unresponsive. Don't go through the hassle; go elsewhere.
