It is NOT soft. - my new rating
I bought one of these in blue for my daughter a while ago. She loves it! It's soft and fits well. We decided to buy her another one, black, and it's made of a different material. It fits as expected but is not soft and actually scratches a bit. She still wants to keep it but this will be my last purchase from this company.

- I washed it once and after washing it is covered in gray spots - almost like a pattern.
